What is a Data Center?

A data center is a large building that holds computers, storage systems, and networking equipment. These computers store and process digital information — including photos, videos, emails, websites, and AI tasks.
You can think of it as a physical home for the internet.
How do they work?
Data centers need three main things to run:
Servers run constantly — they don't turn off. A single data center can use as much electricity as thousands of homes.
